Liverpool slumped to their first league defeat of 2015 as Manchester United pulled away from the Reds with two first half goals from Juan Mata. Steven Gerrard was introduced at half time only to be sent off for lashing out at Ander Herrera, Liverpool did manage to gain a consolation goal through Sturridge and Mignolet saved a pen to keep us in the tie but it was too little too late at Anfield. The Final Word: Swansea 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool went down to the Liberty Stadium to face off against Gary Monk's Swansea City and came away the victorious through a (fortunate) Jordan Henderson goal. It was a poor first half performance from the Reds all told but the team came out for the second half and ground out the win.
